The Boys’ Brigade is a uniformed youth organisation that seeks to nurture Youths, based on Christian values, to serve and lead. Through various programmes and meaningful activities, and with volunteer adult leaders as role models and mentors, we guide our members in the learning of important values and build character.  If you are like-minded and believe in the potential of our young people, you could be the person we’re looking for.


PROJECT EXECUTIVE (90TH ANNIVERSARY) [Contract Position]

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and execute the celebratory events and activities to be held in 2019 and 2020.
  • Work with various Organising Committees to fulfill the objectives of the events by raising operational funds through sponsors, engaging corporate partners, coordinating operations, logistics and manpower. 
  • In tandem with Committees, create, plan and lead multi-channel marketing campaigns for internal and external stakeholders.
  • To create, implement and monitor project management plans within budget.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree from a recognized university.
  • Two or more years of working experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns, preferably with digital and social media marketing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment,
  • Good knowledge of MS software such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Photoshop and other publishing software would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Be a creative thinker, proactive, a self-starter and a team player.
  •  Willing to put in extra time to work with volunteers on some evenings and Saturdays.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This Administrative Assistant is responsible for the general administrative needs of the office.  This will include the managing of our volunteer/alumni databases and emails, and receiving phone calls and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Diploma preferably in Business Administration
  • Possess good oral and written communications
  • Have good knowledge of computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills
  • Meticulous
  • Pleasant, courteous and service oriented
  • An independent worker but also a team player working towards shared goals
