Executive (Stakeholder Engagement)
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Executive to join our team in the Stakeholder
Engagement Department. The role involves strategising to engage the Brigade's
various stakeholders, partners, donors and supporters, so that the Brigade and
its BB Companies can operate well with its various partners and also build up
donor base for a more financially robust Brigade.
Reporting to the Department Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with volunteers, serve as secretariat to committees, and ensure that national-level events offer meaningful learning outcomes for our members.
The staff will therefore need to:
- Prepare and coordinate interviews, media releases, speeches, marketing collaterals, publications, videos and other promotional materials
- Be responsible for website and social media content and updates
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders and partners in relation to starting new BB Companies and the overall health of each Company
- Work with and support BB volunteers and teachers in ensuring BB Companies are operating well
- Develop materials and resources for BB Companies to use to recruit new members and volunteers
- Be responsible for the donor management system; manage existing donors while growing the donor database
- Plan, organise and execute fundraising campaigns / events / activities
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree from a recognised polytechnic / university
- Good interpersonal, communication and organising skills
- Ability to create short videos and graphic collaterals will be an advantage
- Able to work independently but also a team player working towards shared goals
- Willing to put in extra time to work with volunteers on some evenings and Saturdays
- Have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic design or communication skills (e.g., Canva, newsletters) can be a plus
EXECUTIVE (PROJECTS)
Reporting
to the Department Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with
volunteers, serve as secretariat to volunteer committees, and ensure that
community projects offer meaningful learning outcomes for our members.
The
staff will therefore need to:
- Plan, organise
and execute national-level community service and engagement projects that
are impactful and relevant
- Ensure that
members develop skills, character, and values through active service
- Engage and
manage stakeholders including project sponsors, partner organisations,
volunteer groups, and members of the public
- Explore and
propose new service avenues that are timely, relevant, and beneficial to
the community
- Organise
national training courses and workshops to equip Boys and Officers with
the skills for effective community service
- Support and
collaborate with volunteers and serve as secretariat to volunteer
committees, ensuring efficient coordination and communication
- Assist in the
planning and execution of national-level events, including award
presentations and appreciation programmes
Requirements:
- Diploma or
Degree from a recognised polytechnic / university
- 2–3 years of
experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or programme
coordination is advantageous
- Strong
organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle
multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement
and report writing
- Confident in engaging diverse groups of people – from youth members to corporate sponsors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic design or communication skills (e.g., Canva, newsletters) can be a plus
