What is this course all about?
BOTC focuses on equipping Officers so that they are able to relate, manage and lead their Boys effectively. Through this course, Officers would be able to learn more about connecting and building strong relationships with their Boys.

Who can attend BOTC? Applications need to be endorsed by Company Captain and Chaplain. In addition, participants must complete the OCO prior to registering for BOTC.

Modules
Participants would go through 8 different interesting modules:

Cyber Wellness Get to understand and mentor Boys in the internet age |
| 2. |
Mentoring youths & developing Boys as leaders Find out what it takes and how to mentor your Boys into leaders. |
| 3. |
Adventure Safety Adventure experts will teach you how to prepare and lead your Boys for expeditions including sharing of exciting games ideas. |
| 4. |
Adventure Weekend A chance to experience the rugged outdoors and bond with your course mates! |
| 5. |
Creating learning experience: Facilitation
Hear from experts the best ways to faciliate and conduct activities. |
| 6. |
Creating learning experience: Plan & organize programmes
Find out how to prepare training materials and support your school and church activities |
| 7. |
Creating learning experience: Games that teach
Discover new games that replaces boring ways of teaching your badge work. |
| 8. |
Basic Counselling Skills Discover how to handle Boys who are facing various problems and support them through it. | * All modules may be subject to change.

Duration of Course The course will run over 3 weekends. Sessions are held on Saturdays. In addition, there would also be a residential programme held over the last weekend.

How do I complete BOTC?
1. Completion of Book Review assignment.
2. Attend all modules.
# Those who are unable to do so would have to make up for the modules they missed before they can complete the course.
