Why the BB Pipes and Drums Band?

Our aims are as follow:

ii) To encourage music and the playing of instruments in a band as a specific interest or pursuit that is wholesome and worthwhile for our Boys.

ii) To maintain this unique programme that is incorporated only within the BB’s CCA curriculum.

iii) To preserve the traditional linkage to our Scottish roots.
 

We encourage BB Companies to start Pipes and Drums Bands. We raise the profile of the BB Pipes and Drums Bands by providing opportunities to compete and perform at national/international levels. This rallying of BB Companies to play as a combined band will showcase The Boys’ Brigade’s uniqueness, heritage and musical talents.

How much does it cost for engaging a Pipe Band?

It's dependent on the number of tunes, duration of performance and size of the Band required.
