BB CARES Anchor Event 2017

BB CARES (Community Activities Rallying Everyone to Serve) is an annual community service project that seeks to encourage the entire BB membership to rally friends, parents, and stakeholders to invest time in meaningful community activities.

While the Companies coordinate their own projects, The Boys' Brigade in Singapore invited them to participate in a Racial Harmony & Family Carnival, the anchor event this year. The Carnival took place in St Hilda's Secondary School on 22 July 2017, a day after Racial Harmony Day.

Game stalls were specially conceptualised and managed by BB Boys and their Officers to allow fun interaction between beneficiaries and boys. Delicious ethnic food was also prepared for the participants. Special performances including Handbells by K2 Explorers, Bagpipe Band and a magic show entertained the carnival participants. Beneficiaries from various VWOs, Parents and Stakeholders enjoyed a fun day of food and activities.

Beneficiaries from various Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs), Parents and Stakeholders enjoyed a fun day of food and activities. Mr Seah Kian Peng, Member of Parliament, Marine Parade GRC, graced the event as our guest-of-honour and handed out tokens of appreciations to the representatives from City Developments Limited (CDL) and Neo Garden Catering who have both generously supported the event.
