On 10 Oct 2009, 68 BB Officers checked into the Pulai Desaru Beach Resort for a fun-filled and action-packed weekend.

After the opening session, the participants moved off to various locations for an exciting afternoon.
The first group of participants took part in Geo-caching, an activity which tested their navigation and problem solving skills.

The other group marched their way to the paintball site, all ready for the battle between four teams- Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta.

After being out in the sun for the whole afternoon, Mr Raymond Tan from the 93rd Singapore Company led the Officers in a time of light hearted games and interaction.

During the cluster meetings, the Officers connected with each other on a deeper level and gained insights on what fellow Officers do in individual companies.

Bright and early the next morning, Mr Desmond Koh, Executive Director, led the Officers for a time of singspiration. Mr Wesley Cheong from the 11th Singapore Company shared an intriguing story of 300 soldiers and their Battle of Thermopylae.

To better equip the Officers with skills to facilitate the Boys, they were given two workshop choices to choose from: Fostering social-emotional competencies, by Dr Isabella Wong from National Institute of Education and Problem-based learning by Mr Stanley Goh and Ms Violet Chan from Republic Polytechnic.

The trip ended with a short stopover at Tebrau City in JB, where Officers spent some time to relax and chit chat with each other over a nice cup of ice-cream.

Missed out on all the action and fun? No worries, we welcome you to join us in the next AOR!
